Church Clean Up Day!

Dear New Life members,
“Seek ye first His Kingdom.”
God gave up His Son to purchase the church and what a glorious way to
build His church for His Kingdom!
I want to thank all of you for coming out to the church clean up day.  It was an exciting day for all of us who worked together in unity.  There was a spirit of community.  All the groups joined together: leaders and members, men and women, grandparents and children, KM and EM, and FCC and NLMC.  Pastor Jonathan and FCC members were very grateful for all the work we did for the church.  I was encouraged to see some of the parents who brought their children to include them in the work. What a great opportunity to demonstrate to our children how to love God and serve Him and His Kingdom.
Once again, thank you for your dedication to our Lord!

Thank You, EM for Thanksgiving Meal.

I was very much impressed by how the Thanksgiving meal was prepared and served by the EM members.
First of all, it was well coordinated.  Sang definitely has a gift of coordinating events.  Thanks to Sang!
I was also impressed by how all the food was prepared in advance so that they were no distractions during the worship service.  I personally heard so many people saying how delicious the food was.  In fact, some people mentioned that it was their best Thanksgiving meals at church!  Good job!  I am very proud of all the EM members.

Adrian's Last Day

Today was Adrian's last day at NLMC.  He was a great part of our church staff serving the youth and our church.

Cambodia Team is Set to Leave Soon.

The Cambodia Team is leaving soon.  Members from the different association churches are joining together to go learn and support the existing Teams that are on the field.

From New Life Buena Park, we are sending Pastor Roberto and Deacon Paul.

Please pray for them as they embark on this short term mission trip.

Discipleship Training

Discipleship Training off to a start.  This is the second time a group of dedicated men have committed themselves to learn, to grow, and to be equipped to serve God.  I'm excited as we embark on this second season.

The commitment is for two years and composed of six semesters.  We cover different topics from essential doctrines, missions, church history, evangelism, etc.  The class is not designed to fill our heads with knowledge but to put into practice what we are learning.  During the evangelism portion, we go out and share our faith.  During the missions component, we include a short term mission trip as well.
