Church planting in July, 1994
New Life Mission Church is planted in July, 1994—a joint ministry with a Korean speaking congregation and an English speaking congregation.
Membership in January, 1996
On January 21, 1996 14 people become members at New Life.
The founding members develop the Purpose Statement of New Life Mission Church together.
New Life Mission Church exists to lead people into God's family to worship Him, to encourage them to be like Christ, to equip them for service in the church, and to send them out as witnesses of Jesus Christ for God's glory.
Premarital counseling in July, 1996
Marriage and family strengthening becomes a vision pursued through Premarital Counseling Ministry with its first couple session in July of 1996.

Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.
Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.
Evangelism Explosion in June, 1997
Reaching out to the lost is the vision of Evangelism Explosion, which is established as an equipping ministry of NLMC through Pastor Sam Yoo's own EE training in June of 1997.

Cell ministry in June, 1999
Pastor Sam Yoo begins Cell Ministry with 4 cell groups in June of 1999.
John 21:15-18…Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon son of John, do you truly love me more than these?"
"Yes, Lord," he said, "you know that I love you."
Jesus said, "Feed my lambs."
Again Jesus said, "Simon son of John, do you truly love me?"

Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, "Do you love me?" He said, "Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you."
